x 1 instruction slip, with video link
x 8 bead & sequin packets
x 1 beading thread
x 1 chunky yarn
x 1 4 inch embroidery hoop
x 1 pink linen square, with the design drawn on
x 2 beading needles (1 split eye, 1 beading needle)
x 1 chenille needle
x 1 bead mat
x 1 piece of tailors chalk
x 1 print out of the design, to scale
With this kit you can make 1 ‘sampler’ style beaded embroidery 4 inch hoop. The kit contains everything you’ll need to complete the hoop, along with has full video instructions to guide you through the whole process. You’ll just need a pair of scissors to cut your threads.
This kit is aimed at beginners or young stitchers. The kit introduces you to various different beading techniques and hand embroidery stitches. Learn how to make the beads stand up and become 3D, while also being introduced to simple hand stitches such as French knots.
This kit can be completed in 2.5 - 4 hours, perhaps over an afternoon or a couple of evenings. Working in the lines with each different technique is wonderfully satisfying, you’ll find it hard to put it down.
Once you’ve mastered this kit I’d recommend trying the coral inspired ‘beaded embroidery kits’, to learn even more on beaded embroidery.
This kit is packaged in a large letter postal box, making it great for posting as a gift. As the kit box is nice and compact it also travels really well, perfect if you’re looking for any crafts to take away on holiday.
