Glass and ceramic beads in turquoise, orange and pale pink have been hand stitched onto a pale pink linen base to create the texture and feeling of a coral reef, on a miniature scale.
As the hoops moves so do the beads, bringing the coral reef to life.
The artwork has been framed in a 6 inch embroidery hoop, my biggest hoop yet!
The piece has a depth of 2.5cm(including the beads).
Every embroidery is signed and dated on the back of the hoop.
There is an option to purchase the embroidery with the handmade wooden stand. These stands are great for displaying your hoop on a bookcase, side table or shelving unit. Equally the hoop can be displayed without the stand, hanging the hoop on the wall with a nail or hook style command strip.
