March Monthly Bead Box
Say hello to the monthly bead box. Where each month a box of 10 beads and sequins will be released to the website, at the start of each month. The idea is to provide a beading project to get stuck into each month.
March’s bead box celebrates the welcoming of Spring with cheerful yellows, fresh lime greens and soft and bright pinks. You will notice some of the beads are shaped into flowers, which make them perfect for beading a miniature garden with. You will fall in love with these floral beads, they are SO cute!
The beads can be worked in the usual 3D beading techniques and any others you may have too. You can find inspiration for your hoops from the example hoop stitch below.
Please note there are not instructions in the monthly bead box. These boxes are aimed at customers who have completed an imogen melissa kit before, or are confident beginners.
There will be an Instagram live on the 10th of March at 5pm, where Imogen will run a stitch along. She will bead a miniature hoop in the live and will show you how to work with the adorable flower beads. You’re able to ask any questions here too as we share ideas with each other. Bring your box and we can bead and chat away!
To have everything you’ll need to dive straight into this box, you just need to add a set of beading needle. You can add a set into this box with the add ons, the drop down menu below will guide you through this.
Inside the March Box:
10 bead/sequin packets (5 seed bead, 3 flower beads and 2 sequin packets)
1 square of pink linen (6×6 inchees)
1 metre of lime green cotton yarn
1 pale pink beading thread
Each bead bag contains 4g of seed beads while the flower beads contain 2g and the sequins contain 1g.
Box Add Ons:
Your choice of x2 beading needles; split eye needles for £3 (instead of £4), short or long needles for £1 .
